Revtown – a denim startup founded by former Under Armour execs, created tapered jeans that are as comfortable as sweats.
Revtown’s denim is a triple threat: sustainable, comfortable, and affordable.

You have to be pretty courageous to launch a denim line in this, the dawn of track pants, the golden age of fleece-wear. It took three experts from across enemy lines (a.k.a. the athletic apparel industry) to identify an opportunity worthy of taking on the challenge.
The way Henry Stafford, Steve Battista, and Matt Maasdam saw it, denim had a major problem: while it’s something you want to wear every day, it’s also the first thing you want to take off when you get home. Denim is stiff, uncomfortable, constricting.
On top of that it can get pricey, it’s footprint on the environment is…suspect, and shopping for the right cut and wash can feel like a full-time job. So really, it was more like several major problems they saw. Suddenly a market crowded with hundreds of well-funded competitors felt more like an open playing field and thus, in 2018, Revtown was born.

LADIES: if you’re struggling to find your man, dad, brother, etc. a Christmas gift, HEAR ME OUT. Fun fact about my husband, he’s really boujee when it comes to his jeans. quality > quantity! @revtown’s premium, Italian denim is infused with something they call athletic stretch. Making the jeans INSANELY comfortable and stretchy for any dude’s lifestyle! You can’t go wrong with a new sick pair of jeans for the dudes in your life! Coolest thing: they’re based here in Pittsburgh! Shop the link in my bio and on my story! | jordan is wearing the Sharp Denim in Dark Indigo 🕊 #revtown #ad
Premium Jeans that are soft, durable and affordable
Making it their mission to create premium jeans that are as soft and as durable as workout gear, and as affordable too, the Pittsburgh-based trio put the focus on fabric at first. What they came up with is Decade Denim; a classic cotton denim fused with threads that lend just enough stretch and a lot more durability.
They also made sure Revtown jeans were more sustainable than your average pair too. Decade Denim uses BCI-certified cotton and is sustainably dyed using shrimp shells, orange peels, and nut shells.
Sustainable, comfortable, affordable—mission accomplished.
While this innovative fabric comes from Italy, the jeans are actually produced in Guatemala in a green denim mill that recycles 100% of its waste. Once complete they ship directly to Revtown, which uses a direct-to-consumer selling model to keep prices under $100.
Denim is best when it’s simple and to the point, and Revtown knows this.
The brand offers just three cuts for men;
- sharp, a.k.a. slim,
- automatic, a.k.a. straight
- and most genius of all, taper , a.k.a. – your favorite jeans after they’ve been broken in and tailored to perfection.
A slim, but not skin-tight fit
With a slim but not skin-tight fit through the waist and legs, and a ever-so-gently tapered hem, these jeans fit like bespoke trousers and feel like loungewear. And thanks to the four-way stretch in the fabric, they work on every body shape, whether you’re rocker-level skinny or The Rock-level athletic.

There’s no wrong way to wear jeans this classic but we’re partial to the Tapered style. Of course, a hoodie and sneakers works fine too. When your jeans are this comfortable, you might as well go full-tilt chill
